Dear Scotty,
My wife and I just bought a 2018 Nissan Kicks with 28,000 miles. I’ve heard that the newer generation CVTs are a lot better than they used to be. I’ve had a 2009 Nissan Murano and had no issues with the transaxle. Is the newer generation CVT actually better or are they junk?

Well that’s what Nissan claims. However, only time will tell..
Don’t forget to drain & fill the fluid every 30,000 miles using the genuine Nissan CVT fluid, for the best longevity.
All the best!
