Hey Scotty I bought a 2018 Ford Taurus new. I took it to the dealer after 40,000 to change the gas filter. I couldn't find it. I was told it didn't have one. ????? Should I trade in the car or can i add a fuel line filter before my fuel injection system starts to act up?

You want to sell your perfectly running car just because it doesn’t have a fuel filter?
If it doesn’t have a standalone fuel filter, it’s probably integrated with the fuel pump assembly and located within the fuel tank.
Does your owner’s manual provide any guidance regarding fuel filter maintenance?

In most cars, the fuel filter is integrated inside the fuel pump assembly. Do not worry about the clogged injectors because you still have the filter.
