Car condition

My car is running fine and starting up without any issues.

I regularly change my engine oil, MAF and air filter (twice within 6 months). Next 6 monthly oil change due in 2 months time. Recent hard acceleration is slightly sluggish, could be due for oil change.

Spark plugs, Fuel filter, alternator are less than a year old.

The Story

This morning I decided to run a OBD2 bluedriver in the morning Engine temp was not a optimum. I am surprise it got code P1604 and P01C8.

I decide to run the OBD the 2nd time after it warm up a little. I am left with Code P1604.

Tried cleaning the throttle body but still left with the same code. Battery reads at 12.85V when car is not running.

Ran out of options, not too sure what is going on. Please advise.

Why do you change the MAF sensor?

How old is the battery? Did you load test it?

Ooops, I cleaned the MAF, not change.

Battery is 1 year old. Bought local so shelf life is minimum. Not from overseas. No I did not load test it as it has 5 year warranty.

I would load test the battery first. Then cl at the code and see if it comes back or not.

Load test results is ok

Did you erase the code and see if it came back or not? Also, now it is time to pressure test the fuel pump.
