I have an old 07 ford focus sedan. My girlfriend turned the dial too far and it popped. Now we have no heat. Hoses and heater core work and we have rear window defrosters still but no heat in the car. What could be the problem?

@geofocus
If its an 07 I would see if you can get a used one from a salvage yard. You can try the dealership. At least get the part number from the dealer. More than likely the blend door is jammed open . A new part may put things back to normal.

Wondering if somehow the blend doors all got stuck? Curious to know what broke.

As in the nob turns as normal, blows cold and fan but not heat. Hoses are good, heater core is ok. It's something between the nob and the heater itself but I don't know what exactly it can be

Blend door actuator is joe working. If hitting the dash doesn’t make it work, you should replace it.
