Hi Scotty! I have a 2006 Chevy Equinox, automatic with 157k miles & the OBDII port has never worked so I’m unable to scan it. I have had it for about 3 years now. A few days ago I parked it and when I came back out to start it, it was like the battery had been taken out. Turn the key and you get nothing on the dash. No gauge fluctuation, no lights and none of the usual dings and sounds only a clicking from the “HVAC” relay by my glovebox. However the A/C and headlights/tail lights work if they are switched on. I’ve tried everything I could think of; new battery, new ignition switch, had the starter tested, checked my fuses under the hood and inside, took the fuse box off and looked for any burnt wires underneath and didn’t see anything. I’ve looked for videos or forums but no one has the issues I’m having(they get dash activity when the key is turned) I’m stumped as far as what my next move should be! Thanks in advance for any help!
Well you've lost power somewhere make sure the battery connect ing cables are tight make sure the battery has power make sure the ignition switch works pray it's something simple like that
