I have an automatic 2004 Honda CR-V with a little over 200000 miles on it. I've been having an issue with noise coming from the engine whenever the a/c or heater turned on. Anytime the a/c or heater is on this rattling noise can be heard whenever i accelerate the gas. I've had two different mechanics look at it. One told me it was the tensioner which he replaced but the noise continued. The second mechanic says it was she belt and replaced it however the noise continues. The noise isn't coming from the blower, it seems to be somewhere on the right side of the engine. Thank you
First remove all fan belts if the noise goes away then figure out which one is making the noise if noise does not go away then it's inside the engine like a timing belt or chain wearing out
