I got a 2005 Lexus es330 with 160,000 miles. When the engine is cold and I turn the steering wheel, it makes really weird noise. But when the engine runs for few minutes, it goes away. What is that about?

likely a failing power steering pump

As @mountainmanjoe suggested, the pulley stops groaning when warmed up. Time for a new pump.
