Our dealer left the oil cap off on 2022 F-150 3.5L. I didn’t notice until 4,000 miles later and towed about 1000 miles. About 0.4 quarts low and a misty oil in engine compartment.
Should I be worried about engine damage? No warning lights and oil remained in upper safe zone.
What should I demand from dealer?
All documented and called.

That they clean up the oily mess under the hood.
An advice for everyone who takes their cars to a dealership or any other service shop - always inspect their work after getting home. Check fluid levels, lug not torque, etc.
And even before taking car in for tire rotation, oil change, etc. mark one wheel, oil filter and even oil pan bolt washer and then see if things were replaced and are properly tightened.
