Hi Scotty, do you recommend an oil catch can on a 2022 Honda Ridgeline? It’s a direct injected engine only, but there is a difference of opinions on if this is necessary on newer direct injected engines.

Check the legality of installing one as well. It's considered a modification to the smog system, so EPA will throw the ban hammer if you get caught with one if you, say if you live in Cali like me for instance.

I assume you owned a 2022 Honda Ridgeline. Yes, I do recommend to use an oil catch can because it reduces carbon buildup on direct engines. But, I think Honda does make better direct engines than its competitors except Toyota.
