Oil change in a new car

Hi!

I bough a new Mazda 3 two years ago. I barely use it and it only has 5000 miles, how often I should change the oil? Dealership recommends every 6 months but las time I checked the oil in the dipstick looked almost new so I don't know if I'm wasting money in oil changes doing them twice a year or if I should follow dealership recommendation.

Thanks in advance!

Even if you don't drive very much...at the very least is once a year.

Change it once a year or every 5000 miles

Change it every 5k miles, every 12 months should be fine with that kind of driving.

Thanks for the info!
