The crankcase ventilation tube is connected to the intake pipe. This allows any gases in the crankcase to blow by into the intake to be burned up in the engine. If the car is very overfilled with oil, it can splash oil at the top of the engine where the tube is located and leak into the intake system! Be sure to check the oil level or even the PCV valve if you have one.
