Took my 2012 Chevy Silverado to the dealer for an oil change and they put in the wrong viscosity oil in it and overfilled it. They said it should be good but a day or two later and my check engine light came on giving the codes: P3400, P0175, P0172. It’s got 167,000 miles on it currently. I’ve since returned to dealer to have them drain and replace the oil but the check engine light still comes back on. Could the mixup potentially be the cause of any issues I’m now seeing?
I'm sure they checked your air filter. Make sure it was reinstalled correctly.
Follow the air filter to the intake and see if any hoses are cracked open or came loose.
Just a little air leak can really confuse the computer.
what are the code definitions?
P3400 Cylinder Deactivation System Bank 1
P0175 Too much fuel and not enough oxygen in the air fuel ratio
P0172 System Too Rich Bank 1
So maybe check the air filter
