I have a brand new RAV4 and I'm driving on the ALCAN highway to Alaska. A landlock area between Canada and Alaska, the average temperature is -30F; in extreme cases, it is -60F (in this scenario, I'll keep driving). But when I need to stop and rest at pitstops/towns (-30F), should I use an oil pan or engine block heater for overnight stops? Thank you. Alex.
