Suburban surging engine

My last question about my 95 suburban with 5.7 V8 was the surging of the engine while in over drive...you responded with possible over drive going out. I just found out yesterday that the engine surges while under slight load period. I was easing through my yard yesterday trying to be as easy as possible and as its moving the engine surges even with slight load. I give it more gas and it stops surging. And still while in overdrive it surges. Could this be vacuum leak or maybe something else??? Its driving me nuts

Disconnect the vacuum hose from the EGR valve and see if it still does it.

I tried to unplug vacuum line but the line broke at the egr solenoid so I replaced the solenoid and the line and parts store told me to clean egr valve so I did and it still, surging. Kinda hard to explain but like a the engine does the surge or miss with slight load even taking off but if you give more gas it stops

All grounds and oils are good and clean did complete tune up all, but coil pack and have ran a tank of non ethanol gas and 3 cans of sea foam been run through..no vacuum leaks that i can find with a can of starter fluid lol even had to replace egr solenoid during to the nipple broke off when I took off vacuum line also seems to have real good fuel pressure but could use a filter change and ill do that this weekend and in process of finding a compression tester now...thank you for your help and will keep posted of progress.
