Should I buy this Corolla

Scotty, there is a 2007 Corolla LE with an automatic transmission for sale at a little used car lot. The body looks pretty clean except for some cuffs on the back bumper. It has 121,240 miles. The inside looks pretty clean as well. I don't know what all the features are. The guy wants $5,495 for it. I want something good on gas like this that will last a while. I'm a little concerned about the amount of room as I have my wife and two kids; would I be better off upgrading to a Camry or something? Also concerned about the engine as I had a 99 Chevy Prizm with that 1.8 liter which consumed oil like crazy after passing 75,000 miles. Obviously I would have a mechanic check it out first but what are your thoughts? I can also try to share the Facebook Market place link if you like. Thanks in advance.

i have a 2005 that i ended up with $3700 in it, 134k miles, averages 27 mpg

i would shoot for a camry with the 2 kids

that 1.8 might struggle a little with 4 occupants

Get a Camry. The Corolla is quite small in the back.

I would consider Camry, but make sure you avoid those model years that have problems.
