2007 Hyundai sonata I replaced output shaft seal on trans. now after driving a little bit,car makes a squeal/ chains dragging on ground noise when I press on gas pedal. Never did it with old seal. Started making noise with new seal. I sprayed silicone spray on seal and I think noise stopped for a little bit then came back.

Sounds to me like the shaft is not snapped in to the transmission correctly when you put it back those locking rings on the end of the shaft often have to be replaced and cannot be reused or will my clanging noises as a shaft bounces around cuz it isn't set in place
There isn't a snap ring on mine. In center of axle there is a bracket that bolts to engine
