P0171

I have a blue drive obdi reader. I don't have a check engine light on but I decided to scan all systems it gave me a P0171 code. Any tips on how to fix it?

The long term fuel drops when I hit the gas.

The code literally means there is too much air getting into the engine which indicates a vacuum leak on bank 1. Either that or not enough fuel but the vacuum leak is more likely your issue.

@cjbman
What can I do to start to fine out where it is.
Its a 2019 outback with 6k miles on it.

6k miles? Should be covered under warranty i think

Easiest way is to do a smoke test to find where the leak is. Bank 1 is the side where the first cylinder is closest to you. Bank 2 is offset a little further away from you if you are looking at the engine from the front of the car.

Take it back to the dealership your car is under warranty so don’t worry about it
