Hello I have a 01 maxima with 280000 miles with p0325 which is the knock sensor. Is it a good idea to just replace the sensor, or could it be the timing chain?
If so how do I know the difference?

Clarification: are you noticing any symptoms (to accompany the code)?
No symptoms at all.
Just the code.
Like I live in California have to get it smog. And I think it won’t pass with it.
