How do I fix power steering leak

Hi! I have a 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser 2.0i. Last week I have noticed a small leak under the car (approximately under the driver's side) and a few days ago the check engine light came on (today when I started the car it did not come on again but I still want to solve the problem). The code which appeared was P0551 indicating a problem with the power steering system ( in the manual it says it could be a faulty power steering pressure switch). After looking on the internet I have found that the most common cause could be a power steering pressure switch which was damaged by power steering fluid, meaning that the fluid is leaking through the switch. My question is: would replacing the switch solve the problem. I have to add that I didn't t have any problems with the steering pump nor did I have any leaks before.

Thanks!

Yes. Did you also check and make sure that it wasn't something else that you've might have missed?
