P1604 on a 2019 Subaru WRX

I recently bought 2019 Subaru WRX (manual) with 24,000 miles, and bought an Autel maxidiag md806 and scanned the vehicle. The only code that came up is P1604, and the check engine light is not on. Is this something to worry about, or is it fine to erase it and go on my way. After starting it up in the mornings I feel like there are a few inconsistent knocks coming from the engine as it holds 2,000 rpm to warm itself up. Is this also normal or something to act on?

It’s something that Subaru WRX does. Current mantra: … just reset it and drive! Apparently, this code pops out without reason, … so says Subaru. Anyway, I would try once, and if it returns, … off to a dealer!

And as far as knocking you mention, … off to a dealer, pronto! Warranty, yes?

Thanks! I just have a deep distrust of dealerships, which is why I came here first.

Startability code. With only 24,000 miles on a 2019, this should be well within warranty coverage. Why not have the dealership look at it?
