I have a small dent in door of my Tacoma that is annoying the crap out of me. I thought about buying a paintless dent removal tool and pulling the dent out, but a lot of them look like they can do more harm than good. Are they worth buying or they all just pieces of crap?

You really need a professional to pull dents out. They have the know-how after years of practice and experience. Leave bodywork to the professionals if you don't know what you're doing. You could make the problem worse.

If it is in your door, have you tried popping it out from the inside?
Often you can take off the door panel, and you can just whack the dent right out. When I hit a deer with my matrix a couple of months ago, that is exactly what I did, and it went from a huge dent to almost nothing. Took about fifteen minutes if that.
