pennzoil ultra platinum 0-20 vs Mobile1 0-20.

Pennzoil is motor oil made from natural gas, not crude.  I notice that the engine runs smoothly with it than Mobile 1.  But with the new technology of how they derive the oil, should I be concern witching from Mobile 1 to Pennzoil?  Thank you.

No issue between the two. Go with whichever makes you sleep better at night.

No, they are both similar enough.

Just be consistent with your oil changes. Once you decide which brand you like, stick with it.

Scotty's commented on the Plantium oil as being a pure synthetic, rather than hacked conventional oil (which have been tweaked to meet the legal definition of a synthetic).

As for environmental concerns, both involve processes that pollute. And both are recyclable into heating oil and other petroleum based products.
