Hi Scotty and Friends,
I am planning to change the power steering fluid on my 07' Toyota highlander with 103000 miles, V6 FWD. As of now I don't see any problems, but I want to change it in advance the fluid seems dirty (black with gunk) the previous owner didn't bother to change it. I saw some Youtube videos where they used ATF fluid, and the manual suggests automatic trans- mission fluid DEXRON II or III.
I was wondering if there are any additives that you recommend which would help the seals, gaskets, rubber bits last longer ?
I do intend to change the fluid a couple of times until it is clear.

Just use the recommended ATF.
Thank you.

Doc’s right. Don’t add additives. Keep it simple.
Thank you.
