I have an 01 Dodge Ram 1500 2WD v6 with 106k. I just replaced the power steering pump and after I filled the new reservoir with fresh fluid. I was turning the steering wheel back and forth and still hear whining and grinding. But when I stopped steering the wheel it was steering by itself almost like a ghost was turning the wheel. And fluid was shooting out the high pressure line. Help please 😫

Fix the line and see what it does then...

Well that sounds more like the steering rack because the pump just supplies pressure and it's the rack that decides how much to use and how to use it
