Hey, I got a 2009 Scion tC, 123K miles. Whenever I have the car idling or not in motion (in reverse or drive) a noticeable grinding noise can be heard from within, with the car steering wheel being stiff when turning. Could it be the CV axles are worn, or is it something to do with my power steering/rack and pinion?

CV access won't make noise unless the car is moving more often it's power steering pump or anything that is belt driven on the engine like water pump alternator
