- I baught a previously owned 2021 Chevy Suburban from the dealership and extended the warranty. The SUV has 85,600 so called “highway” miles.
After only putting on 250 miles the car had a transmission issue. I took it back and was told they were going to put a new transmission in the vehicle.
Being that I got very little or no use out of the truck thus far, would I have any recourse to return the car under the “lemon law”? - if not … what should I demand of them in terms of functionality of engine, transmission, compression, and other diagnostics before I drive it off the lot again?
Thank you for your response,
regards,
ANTHONY

Typically that applies only to new cars where multiple attempts have failed to fix a problem. However you would have to check the lemon law in your state since they vary.

That the problem you brought it in for is fixed. That's all they are obligated to do under warranty and you're lucky if they even do that much.
