[Solved] Hyundai Elantra 1.8L 148,000 miles loses acceleration when stomping on gas pedal

Press the gas pedal down past 30% car looses all acceleration and revs hard.

I have replaced the following:

Alternator, Fuel Pump & Filter, Battery, Spark Plugs, Catalytic Converter, Throttle Body, O2 sensors, crankshaft position sensor, air filter and new belt.

The crankshaft position sensor also randomly goes off and the tach turns off. I have cleaned the fuel injectors with Bg88 twice in last month. I am at my wits and dollars end with this car. Any ideas? Or should I just get rid of it at this point? The throttle body position sensor is part of the throttle body on this car, so that entire thing is new. I can slowly get the car to accelerate to highway speeds but if I need more power now I can't hit the gas for fear of the car loosing all acceleration.

It sounds like the car is just worn out. Common with Hyundais of that age and mileage.

I would stop throwing money at it and just replace it. Save yourself the headaches.
