Hey Scotty and friends, my girlfriend is in search of a new car and is currently looking at three - a 2018 Subaru Forester, a 2018 Nissan Rogue, or 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. All three have about 30k miles. Which one is the best and most reliable?
Clarification: How many years and miles does she need it to last?
Of those, the Forester.
Go with the 2018 Forester: if you can get the 2.5L naturally aspirated H4 engine with the manual transmission that will be the most reliable and best choice.
Mitsubishi and Nissan have more or less the same reliability. The Subaru foresters are really good cars and reliable especially the old ones. If I had to pick out of the three I would choose the Subaru but if I wanted a good reliable suv of the class I would got for a Honda crv with a automatic or a Toyota Rav 4 fwd for the fact that it’s a little less maintenance not worrying about the awd system.
