My neighbors friend a Hyundai GT hatch and the engine blew up at 10,00 miles due to him using the Manuel mode on his shifter. Do you think it is a bad idea to use Manuel mode on your car? Hyundai also stated they are giving him a brand new engine under warranty along with the modifications he put on it.

Unless your driving it around bouncing off the rev limiter using manual mode should never hurt anything
