Overall, who's parts are cheaper? Ford or Toyota? Do you really save money with cheaper parts? Also is there a tally or someone keeping count on the cars that you work on?
I think it depends.
Both of these companies mass produce vehicles, and they have some low production vehicles too.
Parts will usually be cheaper for mass produced models, especially if they have shared components with other models. The more unique or obscure your model, the more expensive the parts.
Toyota makes a ton of cars, so many of their parts are cheaper, IMHO.
I’ll add that when it comes to electronic parts & sensors, it’s always a good idea to stick to OEM parts and not cheap aftermarket ones, especially Chinese electronic parts.

Well the vehicle will end up costing you more in the long run, so the Toyota ends up being easier on your wallet
