Hi Scotty, love your channel. I have a 2014 Toyota Prius c Four with 67,000 miles. Bought the car in August of 2024 with 58,000 miles. To my knowledge, the transmission fluid has never been changed. Should I change it? What type of fluid does it use. Thanks!

Yes I would change it now and I would change it every 60,000 mi. Those things are so particular. I only use the Toyota OEM fluid. It's not all that expensive even at the dealer, but sometimes you can find it somewhere else. Don't mix a different one because all you're doing is diluting it when you change the fluid only a certain percentage of it comes out and the old stuff remains inside. So basically you're diluting it and you don't want to mix fluids from different manufacturers
