Hello i just had a question about my 1991 Honda accord dx coupe, it currently has 179,000 miles interior and exterior is in mint condition i've replaced the head gasket at 165,000 miles it was blown due to age and sitting for so long with coolant in the block, previous owners mistake. i did reuse the timing belt and original head bolts i know i know i shouldn't have but, it does runs fine has tons of power but i checked the compression and it has 135 psi on all cylinders and i was wondering if i should do a complete engine rebuild or should it be okay? because the book says 185 psi when engine is new and 135 psi minimum, I also need to change the timing belt and water pump due to them being 29 years old and the water pump just started leaking lol figures and while I'm in there i could just do the rebuild, if need be. So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks again.

rebuilding the engine costs a lot of money if done correctly and I don't think the car worth it to put that money in it.

@yaser

Thanks Yaser I wasn't too sure here what to do, thanks for the great advice definitely helpful. I will just change the water pump and timing belt and see how long it lasts wish me luck.
