Scotty, I have a 2019 Toyota Camry. It has a lag in the acceleration when pressing down on the gas pedal. Most 2018 and newer Camry's have this issue.
Would it hurt to install an Aftermarket throttle controller like this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08115WHSK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I drove these models and they are pretty responsive to the gas. Are you sure this is common?

Defiantly in eco mode. If you turn it off it gets better
So, it is part of enhanced mpg model. If you don’t like it how it drives, switch the mode.

Since the LE model doesn’t have the Eco, Normal, and Sport drive selection buttons do you know how to switch out of the eco mode or does turning off the eco indicator light disable it?
Waste of money honestly. Just press the gas pedal more to get moving.
