I can't decide between getting a 2019/2020 Acura ILX.  2020 Toyota Camry LE/SE or a 2021 Mazda 3 sedan select.  Thank you!

I would vote for the Camry but you picked three excellent cars and you can't go wrong with any of the three.

If you are ok with the slower drive of the Camry and the fact that some people call it "boring" la la bla bla.... Then, that would be a very reliable car. Just know all 3 are excellent but the ILX has a weaker automatic transmission the Mazda 3 is also a very good choise. Why don't you go used? The ILX and 3 should have less resale value than the Camry so you might get a very good deal on one.

For the Camry and ILX I'm looking to get slightly used. Mazda would be new.

I see. Then make sure to have a mechanic check it out. Now Acura is a luxury car so if you are fine with how the Camry rides and you like it then get that but if you like the luxury of the Acura that would also be farely reliable but I must say not as much as the Camry. Camry resale value should be higher as well.

I would say get the Toyota.  Although the Acura is basically a Honda you will have a much longer life out of the Toyota.

Looks: ILX > 3 > Camry

Reliability: Camry > ILX > 3

Bang for Buck (short term): 3 > Camry > ILX

I believe the 3 and the ILX are more comparable in terms of size.  The Camry seems a size up.

I have a 2012 Mazda3. I got it new and I've put 168k miles on it. It's been a fun, reliable driving car that's great on the highway, city, and wallet. The newer ones are very much better eye candy, but it's still got the same engine as mine. You'll get plenty of years of service out of them.
