Hey Scotty,

First I wanted to so I love your videos and your practical way of telling the plain damn truth. Breath of fresh air these days.

So I have a question for you. I am currently in a 2023 Honda Ridgeline lease that will end in 2026. I have always been a Honda fan and owned Hondas. Recently with all the changes auto manufacturers are making to hybrids etc and removing available options on engines, I am having a difficult time deciding what will probably be my last car for a long time when the lease is up. This EV and hybrid tech is absurd. Where has the reliability gone with Honda and Toyota. Recall after recall and crappy engine options. I want a vehicle that is going to last me considerably longer when it’s time to replace. I will be 56 at the time of needing to replace the Ridgeline.

What would you recommend being a viable replacement. Since the zrisgeline will probably retain the v6 option, should I consider buying another one, of course they are getting more and more expensive.

Thanks for your time

If you want hybrid Toyota is still the best option for hybrid vehicles. There's nothing wrong with a hybrid Camry or Rav4 for example. I think the Rav4 still offers a regular gasoline option too which in that case would be the best option for longevity.
