Reliable daily driver

Scotty. In the market to purchase a fun and reliable daily driver that will last. Looking at the 2023 Kia Forte GT 1.6L turbo with manual transmission, the 2023 Honda Civic Si 1.5L turbo with manual transmission and 2023 Subaru WRX 2.4L turbo with manual transmission. I’ve heard Hyundai/Kia motors have had issues with motors blowing although I think those were the Theta engines (this one uses the Gamma II engine).  The Honda 1.5 has had issues with oil dilution, and there’s rumors floating about the Subaru has RTV clogging the oil uptake (although I’m not aware that there have been any specific cases with the WRX 2.4 turbo. There have been a few cases with the non-turbo version used in the BRZ/GR 86.). Which would be the best option?

The NA & Turbo engines are pretty different, im not sure if the wrx will have that same issue or not.

I'm bias towards the WRX (look at my footer on this post).

Overall the Civic will probably be most reliable/ last the longest, with the WRX not far behind it. The kia doesnt even deserve to be considered imo. If you want to factor in driving experience, Id say the WRX is probably way better (you should test drive and see for yourself).

Factor in AWD too, my first car was a Camaro, I wanted my next car to be able to get through snow here in PA.

Keep in mind that the WRX is on its 2nd year for this generation, and the Civic is on its 1st year for this generation. Buying the first year of a new gen can be problematic, some little bugs aren't worked out yet.

Id say both are safe options and will be fun.
