I want to add a hoodliner but there all no replacements because they didn't originally have them. I can see the hood is built for one.
There are so many DIY ones that I don't know which to choose. Some reviews say they turn to goo because they have tar.
I'm thinking of going to a performance speed shop.
It needs one because the hood paint got trashed and I don't want to fix the hood to have it fade to nothingness again.
Does anyone have any advice?
I would not waste my money on this. The hood paint got trashed because of poor surface prep and ultraviolet rays.
Do you often park outdoors, with the sun beating down on your car?
I just bought it so I don't know why the clear coat failed. I'm going to forego the heat sheild and just repaint the hood.
