Hi Scotty, I have a 2011 Jeep Patriot and the transmission (CVT) won't change gears. I replaced the valve body and the four solenoids, but it didn't help. The code it gives from the get-go is a bad solenoid. Anyway, I decided to replace it with a used one from the Junk yard. Yes, I know, but I'm not going to spend over $3,500 when the real value of the car is $3,500. Besides I need it working and I can't afford a new/rebuilt one. My question is: What do I need from the old trans to make the "new" one work, and do I need to have it reprogramed? Any additional tips that can help me will be appreciated.
