THIS IS AN SOS..... {black} I've watched the videos, listened to the different clicks. And It sounds like this one no this one. So I'm not sure. My name is Kristine, I'm a young old 52 yrs old. I'm not a mechanic but I'm not clueless (ahhh, meet in middle on that lol) Car sat for a few months before I had my starter replaced $800.00 I started to drive car and a few days of driving noticed the temp getting warm faster then normal. So I watched and I didn't let get way hot above the med line when I did drive, I didn't drive unless needed to car sat all day I drove it about 5 miles to store (needed beer) turned off got a few things got in car and it didn't want to turn over wait try again. It started and idle real rough and die. When starter was being done I asked to have oil replaced and fluids checked. Oil fine checked reservoir for coolant it was empty. Orileys next to store went in bought a jug of coolant filled car up it still ran rough. Got a young boy who didn't look old enough to drive if he'd come and listen and see if he thinks blew a rode. He said I think it's starting to go!! Had car towed home. Watched a million videos on lifters cranks blown gasket blown rod. And the sounds each one makes? I didn't have the smoke blowing out tail pipe I didn't have the water cap and oil mix but my coolant reservoir was plum empty again from just sitting and not but real fast to have dad listen to the sound then off. It doesn't idle rough like it did that day but it's still not a smooth idle and I crawled underneath and saw the coolant leaking from what I saw around the seam in the middle (pretty sure where the gasket is) I had the famous ticking lifters for years but the mechanic shop I'd took car in when needed never brought it up and until now did I know what, why and should of. It's not a hard solid bang sound it's more of a fast clicking sound. Lifters per the videos but the getting hot and the coolant reservoir isn't caused when lifters fail that I saw in videos? Would that be the crank shat or crank arm? My symptoms didn't match to that on part of I remembered right?? Could I be lucky and have multiple things go at once? I barley drove it after getting starter finally fixed for maybe 2weeks if that before this all happen, could it be from sitting for a little to starting to drive it? I want to keep the car I refuse to believe motor bad. But 2 months into no car and new job in a week, If I find out I walked country blocks to bus stop easy 5 miles one way and 4 buses to get to new job have money for mobile mechanic to come diagnose and it was something else and only 100.00 to fix with new part? Jumped chain belt? Can gasket leak but not be blown if caught soon enough I know I didn't over heat it til it went red and dead? Can I record the sound and send to you or call you and have you listen? Orileys don't sell miracles and these young kids now a days don't work for beer and don't seem to work on side for a few extra dollars??? This is long sorry please advise me and my dad like your videos. The way you explain things in your videos is great. Go mobile teaching mechanic on the road and make videos for YouTube and get paid for it. You'd be good at that! I know they've had the reality shows of cars of all kinds at someone's shop. A mobile mechanic traveling all over helping folks requests sent to you thru YouTube and posted sponsors pay and YouTube pays...Hey I don't think there's been one yet??? Good idea? Seattle is your first stop though.......lol [personal info redacted]

Aside from that, while we don't like to get on anyone's case for writing style I'm afraid that your post is a dense wall of text that is virtually impossible to follow. It would be a great help if you could summarize the problem and symptoms more succinctly with some suitable paragraph separations and post it as a response in this thread.
