Scotty, I appreciate your videos They are very helpful. I wish I would have known ahead of time because I went and bought a used Nissan Altima 2019. I have 80,000 mi on it and the mechanic said that I'm rolling the dice if I change the oil on the transmission because of the CVT. Should I change it out I'm not noticing any kind of slipping or anything However it is that 80,000 mi right now. I trust your expertise and would really appreciate guidance.

yes you should change it every 30k on a Nissan.

the mechanic doesn't know what he's talking about. He's thinking about conventional automatics ( and even then 80k is fine).

CVTs don't have clutch packs.
