Obd I check engine light comes on and off at time I have no way to scan it myself.

Well those things were flash to check engine lights if you set them right Google checking OBD1 codes on Old Ford truck and you can see it can be done and you can look up the results online too on websites like obd1.com
Thank you very much Scotty is there anything else that I should look for, could one of my injectors be all clogged up and causing this problem? There the original one's in the block hardly anything has ever had to be replaced in the engine bay. Could I also have a vacuum leak as well. I've tried to get it hooked up to a old 1 scanner in the past there was and issue that it wouldn't connect up any thoughts were I should be looking for that issue I know I want it fixed right and to run right as well.
