Hey Scotty had a question about my Honda Accord. It's an automatic transmission. I'm getting code P0339 crankshaft position sensor A circuit intermittent. I replaced the position sensor with the brand new one from O'Reilly's. Also my car is misfiring and cylinders one two and three and I'm also getting a code for random misfire. I did some research online and looks like my computer could possibly need to be reprogrammed to get rid of the problem, I'm also getting a catalytic converter code, so I'm thinking also my converter might be clogged. I've had a check engine light flashing so I haven't drove the car since that happened. Also online people were saying that it might be an alternator problem, because Honda's really picky about the type of alternators the car will accept, everybody saying it has to be an oem alternator otherwise I'll keep getting that problem. Some kind of confused on which route to take. I did run some catalytic converter cleaner but it didn't seem to help.

Please mention all your codes here.

Well you have various problems you have to start by fixing the misfire problems that's where I would start they all feedback to each other so one problem can create others always fix the obvious ones first and do have the catalytic converter pressure tested if it isn't efficient the car won't run that bad but if it's clogged up it will and pressure would be built up then

Well, I've come to the conclusion that the catalytic converter is not the problem because I am bolted it from the car and it was still misfiring, I've done some more research and turns out when you replace a crankshaft position sensor on Hondas you have to get relearn done with a scan tool, so I'm just going to take it to my local Honda dealer and have them do a relearn on it and I'll pray that fixes the problem. Because apparently if you don't do a crankshaft position sensor relearn, the car will misfire because it's not on time.
