I got a 09 LX Civic with a bad AC pulley. There's someone I know who can replace the AC but I'm worried the drive belt will rip along the way(I've already ripped 2 belts). I heard the DX Civic has a shorter belt because it has no AC. Could the belt for the DX work for now so I can make that trip?

Wow if there is room for the shorter belt and the AC compressor isn't in the way you could do that. Only trial and air will tell you that cuz sometimes there is no way you can do that because parts are in the way
