Should I buy a Fiat 500e?

What do you think about a 2017 Fiat 500e for $6500 as a 2nd car/beater? Their powertrain is made by Bosch and is electric. I've heard good things about them but want to hear your thoughts on it. This would be from a dealer.

If you are on Europe, I guess you would be fine, as Fiat are pretty common around there, parts and knowledgeable technicians about the brand are plenty, on the US, go Japanese or north american.

It might not have a Fiat engine but the rest of the car will fall apart like anything else they make.

If quality is similar to Fiats with internal combustion engines, don't expect long life of the car without major problems.

No, No, No. Lots of issues, waste of money.

I've known a half-dozen FIAT owners. The only one who had a good experience was a friend whose car was totaled while parked when it only had 30K miles on it, before things would start breaking/failing/rusting. Nobody else got more than 50K miles out of theirs before giving up.
