And which do you recommend for daily commute.

That's a very vague question.

What is your budget like?

What size SUV are you looking for?

Doing any offroading?

The 4Runner, Highlander, Sequoia, RAV4, CRV, Pilot....are all good SUV's. But which ones you should consider depends on your needs and budget.

Apologies.

Im looking for a medium SUV just for commuting (city). I have a Nissan Sentra 2017 but Im looking for something 1) taller because of floods and 2) something safer than a sedan.

I could get a credit for a new CRV or RAV4 but honestly I dont liked when my sentra devalued almost 40% in the first years. So Im looking to see what used SUV is reliable so I dont find myself wasting money on repairs.

I saw a beautiful 2015 Jeep Patriot with suspension raised 2". Its cheaper than my sentra. But im concerned that Scotty almost nevers recommends Jeep.

Another car I saw and loved was the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I love the aspect and the huge sun roof. But again..same concern, specially being so old.

Another one I found is a 2017 hyundai tucson. I like the form and that is newer. But I dont know if its reliable.

Should I stick to used CRV or RAV4? Should I get a new one instead? Or any of the used ones I found are a good find?

No apology needed 🙂 . Just trying to help you better. I would avoid anything Hyundai/Kia. The CRV/RAV4 are very good choices. I would compare used prices to new as in this market you may find the difference isn't as much as you would think.

What’s the price difference?

I would never buy a new vehicle again.  Let someone else take the automatic depreciation and get the bugs worked out first, then buy it.
