[Solved] Should I buy a OEM torque motor mount or a aftermarket one with OE specs for a 2004 Toyota Camry XLE 2.4L with 134,000 miles on it?

It an automatic transmission with a 2AZ-FE engine. I tried the Anchor brand and the rubber split within 3 1/2 months. The auto store offered a 3 month limited warranty so I could not return it. I found this brand is Chinese and ain't worth a broke dog dk. So now I need to replace it again but this time should I try a Beck Arnley at $35 on carparts.com or spend the $140 for the OEM from Toyota? I also have the passenger side mount that needs replacement too. This one is hard to get at though. Could the lower mount put more strain on the upper torque motor mount and I should replace all of them?

You might be able to get a better deal on OEM parts from online Toyota dealers compared to local dealers. Shop around for OEM first, maybe you'll find a better price..

You get what you pay for. Cheap motor mounts just that -cheap. Your car will probably still vibrate and won't ride the way you want it to. Why go cheap on motor mounts? That's literally the only thing stopping the engine from falling to the ground. Go OEM. Try Rockauto.com as well.

How much would the dealership charge in labor if they are honest and could I bring my own parts?

No dealership I've ever heard of allows customers to bring their own parts.

I heard I could replace just these but it would put added strain on the other 2 mounts so replacing all of them is best.

Motor mounts are all equally shot, you need to replace them all, or the sketchy ones will just fail faster.

I've seen videos on Youtube where they changed all mounts and it took 1-2 hours depending on the video all with lifts.

You can do them yourself, as long as you have a floor jack. Put a block of wood between the jack and engine, then jack it up a few inches.

For all Toyota OEM mounts online it comes to $683.00 which I can order now but not having a lift I'd have to take it to a garage or dealership.

You're fine to drive for a few days. Motor mounts don't break catastrophically for years. The weight of the engine is keeping the mounts on the engine itself.

Thank you Justin for your advice. I just got a quote from the dealership: parts $999.30 / labor 444.00/ total $1544.30 with tax. Online Toyota parts $695.00. This job should not take 3 or 4 hours for them to do. Are they ripping me off on the labor too?

You know it. It doesn't take 4 hours for a seasoned mechanic to perform an engine mounts change. They call them "stealerships" for a reason. Stay away from dealerships unless you have warranty work.

Thanks. I found a OEM torque motor mount for $83.96 on the Toyotapartsdeal.com website. For these mounts oem is more by you can't pat for piece of mind.

I bought it at 108,402 for $500 bucks in 2020 and have put almost $5000 in work to date. If it was your car what would you guys do?

The Car Care Nut recommends the real deal  and to replace them all.
