Hello, I am a first time car buyer and I recently came across this 08 impala for sale, it is pretty clean inside and no cosmetic damage outside. However I am concerned that it isn't a reliable car and the price might be too high for the car.
I would like to know your experiences with this vehicle if you have owned one and also how I can get the price a little lower

They are not reliable. The price is outrageous for a 15-year-old Impala even assuming the mileage is accurate. Best to look elsewhere.
