02 ford explorer xlt 4wd. looking to make this my second car to use in harsh ithaca ny winter. I have a 2020 accord but don’t want to ruin that by driving it on ithaca roads in the winter. 160k miles and he wants $2000 for it.

If it checks out mechanically, sure. But it needs to have a clean title and pass a mechanical inspection before I'd consider it.
