Greetings. I have a 2014 Cadillac XTS, front wheel drive, automatic, with over 130,00 miles. There are no problems and I would like to keep it that way. I understand transmission fluid and filter should be changed to keep it in good shape. I scheduled this to be done at the dealership and they called saying they, "...do not recommend changing the transmission fluid or filter for those nearing 140,00 miles if this is the first time to be serviced...". This does not sound right to me and I would like your advice.

Clarification: When was the last time the fluid/filter was changed?
If you haven't changed the trans fluid before then. No don't change the fluid Scotty explained it in more detail and I will see if I can find the video.
