I have a 2014 2.5L 4-cylinder Toyota Camry (automatic). It has about 140K miles on it now. I bought it used at 130K miles from a private seller who was the only previous owner. I don't know the maintenance history for the transmission fluid changes and there is no way for me to know for sure. I am wondering if I should do a transmission fluid change or not?
The transmission seems to run fine. There is a slight jerk shifting from 1st to 2nd but other than that it shifts smooth.
You could sign up on the Toyota owners website, and enter your vehicles vin as your own. You can then see any maintenance that was done to it, at least at the dealership.
Well I would leave it alone. I know a guy who did that change and the transmission went out a month later
